Article Body:

So how does one do it?

Direct mail marketing. When it involves marketing your product or services there are two basic challenges:

1. How does one obtain new customers or clients?

2. How does one get your existing customers to return back for more?

Direct mail/direct response marketing answers both these challenges admirably (it’s not the sole thanks to roll in the hay but it's a proven method that always works). you'll ALWAYS believe spam MARKETING. The postcard—direct marketing’s secret weapon…

One of the only and most cost-effective sorts of spam marketing is that the POSTCARD. Because postcards work so well they will be considered one among the key small business marketing strategies.

"I switched from sending out a monthly newsletter to my list , to sending out full color post cards.

Not only did it save me money on the value of printing, but it saved me the effort of getting to organize the mailings.

Feedback has been very positive from our clients and therefore the leads are pouring in. Plus my website hits have increased thanks to promotion or it on our post cards!" Kerry Fuller, Realty Executives

Direct mail marketing strategies…

To get new customers all you would like to try to to is:

1. Get their identities (mailing lists do this).

2. Reach them (direct mail does this).

3. Attract their attention and obtain your message across (post cards do that perfectly—you don’t need to open them!).

4. Get them to contact you. (Your mailing piece, letter or, preferably, post card, will do this if it’s neat and written.)

5. the remainder is up to your ability to sell.

To get your existing customers to return back for more all you would like to try to to is:

1. Keep accurate records of your customers (anyone who has ever bought anything from you) during a database and keep it current.

2. Send them frequent mailings. Postcards are excellent. you'll send a newsletter. you'll send personalized letters. But keep contacting them. Tell them about new products or services. Get them to reply .

3. Obviously you've got to deliver excellent service or an excellent product. you'll get results with these marketing techniques albeit you don’t deliver good service or an excellent product, but it won’t last long and you won’t be ready to maintain it.

4. Remember, the dimensions of your customer base and therefore the number of mailings thereto determines what proportion income you create . Fact.

So, roll in the hay correctly and you can't fail.
