Direct mail marketing strategies…
To get new customers all you would like to try to to is:
1. Get their identities (mailing lists do this).
2. Reach them (direct mail does this).
3. Attract their attention and obtain your message across (post cards do that perfectly—you don’t need to open them!).
4. Get them to contact you. (Your mailing piece, letter or, preferably, post card, will do this if it’s neat and written.)
5. the remainder is up to your ability to sell.
To get your existing customers to return back for more all you would like to try to to is:
1. Keep accurate records of your customers (anyone who has ever bought anything from you) during a database and keep it current.
2. Send them frequent mailings. Postcards are excellent. you'll send a newsletter. you'll send personalized letters. But keep contacting them. Tell them about new products or services. Get them to reply .
3. Obviously you've got to deliver excellent service or an excellent product. you'll get results with these marketing techniques albeit you don’t deliver good service or an excellent product, but it won’t last long and you won’t be ready to maintain it.
4. Remember, the dimensions of your customer base and therefore the number of mailings thereto determines what proportion income you create . Fact.
So, roll in the hay correctly and you can't fail.
