Weight Loss Tip #9: Don't be a New Year's Casualty!

I got so trapped during this year's fitness goals that I completely forgot about something that I usually brace myself for this point of year. 


But no sooner had I stepped into my gym every week or two ago than i used to be sharply reminded of it. 


Reminded of what?, you'll ask. 


The New Year's Day Resolution crowd. 


They come per annum like snowbirds to Florida; they're so predictable, that I can literally set my watch by them at the stroke of midnight each New Year's Day Eve. 


And they're very easy to inform from everyone else, too. They show up in January in flocks and droves so thick that there's literally a line ahead of each piece of kit at the gym. 


Then around mid to late March they begin disappearing one by one like ducks being picked off by hunters. By April, they're just about all gone. 


These seasonal "birds" are the joke of the gym every season . 


The question is, will YOU be one among them? 


Because you certainly do not have to be. Everyone who's in shape now was once someone who was just getting started or getting back on the horse after "letting themselves go" a touch . So getting a clean slate is nothing to be ashamed about. 


In fact, it should be applauded. Getting started new and fresh means you've got stepped up to the plate to try to to something that numerous people reception just aren't willing to try to to for themselves. 


The trick isn't to let it all end even as quickly because it started. 


I'll offer you the key to being the last man or woman standing when everyone else has "flown back north" because they couldn't hack it. 


Set your weight loss and fitness goals NOW. Make them as specific as possible. The dress or waist size you would like , your perfect weight, the outfit you would like to wear, the reaction you would like to urge . Write it all out. 


Studies have shown that written goals are quite twice as likely to become reality than people who aren't . 


Then once you enter the gym, ditch everybody else. You heard me right---EVERYBODY. 


Don't pay any attention to those toned physiques that appear as if they need to have taken years to place together. Pay no mind to the show-off within the corner performing some fancy upside-down exercise with chains, ropes, and a couple of machines. they are not your concern. 


Its all about you. 


Your body. Your goals. Your workout. Your results. 


Go ahead and take that "before" picture. check out it everyday as you're employed faraway from the old and toward the new you. 


If you'll just make it through the primary few months you've greatly increased your chances of being around for the end of the day . 


Don't cheat yourself by being on of this year's gym casulties.
