In my previous article, “Why High Protein Diets Won't assist you Lose Weight”, I wrote about 1 of the three incorrect beliefs that everybody has of protein, thinking that you simply must eat massive amounts to reduce and burn fat.
I spoke about why it's NOT true that protein is what makes up most of the lean muscle weight on your body.
Today, I'm getting to write a touch about the 2nd myth: that eating high amounts of fats or carbs (as against eating high protein) goes to form you appear as if a touch ball of lard (fat).
Let me make one point really clear, if your goal is to reduce and burn fat, eating low amounts of fats or carbs isn't the thanks to go!
There are many who are under the impression that you simply can reduce WITHOUT gaining fat by eating a high protein, low to moderate fat or low to moderate carb diet.
Well, I'm here to inform you that it couldn't be beyond the reality .
Back within the 70's and 80's everyone was on the "low fat" kick.
People thought that you simply had to avoid fats in the least costs.
That's when all of those "low" or "no fat" products hit the markets, capitalizing on the newest fad.
Then, all of a sudden, out of no where, with the re-publication of the Atkins Diet book, within the 90's, and even now, everyone completely made a turn-around and commenced to form carbs ENEMY #1.
Now, it had been all fine and dandy to eat fats and high protein, "ohhhh, but stand back from those carbs". Man, are we gullible!
What's down-right funny is that the incontrovertible fact that whether people were following a coffee fat diet or low carb diet, everyone still wasn't looking any better.
People still weren't reaching their weight loss / burn fat goals!
Well, to urge right to the purpose of this matter (since I could write on this for pages and pages), no matter how you divide your calories, high fat, low fat, high protein, low protein, high carb, low carb, etc., you're NOT getting to lose / burn one ounce of fat weight if you don’t eat the right amount of overall calories……period!!!!! you'll stuff protein gram after protein gram down your throat, but if you do not give your body enough calories, you are not getting to reduce .
You can continue rock bottom carb or fat diet around, but if you're still eating MORE calories than what your body uses per day, you are not getting to burn fat or reduce .
Your body responds to overall CALORIES.
Food, no matter what type, is digested within the stomach, gets converted into a sort of ENERGY, gets sent to the bloodstream, gets transferred to the various tissues and organs, where it's then used how your body best sees fit.
It isn't the very fact that you simply are eating carbs or eating fats that make people overweight, it is the incontrovertible fact that they're eating too many calories, either per day or per sitting!!!!!
If you would like to reduce , you can't continue a coffee fat or carb diet.
I repeat, you can't . Your body needs those calories. it's impossible to urge enough calories and nutrients from just protein to create muscle.
Also, it's carbs that gets converted into glucose, which is that the ONLY thing that your muscles can use to supply energy to a muscle when it's understanding , and is that the only substance within the body that pushes water and other nutrients into a muscle, which adds to the quantity , size, and weight of a muscle, giving your body that toned, defined look…….NOT protein!
It is fats that your body uses to line the muscle cells and creates the hormones that help build muscle mass, like testosterone, which also assists processing and burning fat……not protein! In my next article I'll write on the 3rd protein myth that's being spread.
