TV series synopsis Endeavour (2012)

Series 1 follows the early police profession of younger Endeavour Morse, who upon leaving his Oxford college without a degree, spending time in the Royal signal Corps., and ultimately becoming a member of the Oxfordshire Police, is transferred to CID, achieving the rank of Detective Constable. At the start starting out his career at Carshall-Newtown Police, Morse transfers to the Oxford city Police in 1965 following a homicide research in the course of the pilot episode. Whilst with the Oxford town Police, Morse is taken below the wing of veteran Detective Inspector Fred Thursday. Inspector Thursday names Morse his designated "bag guy" and indicates him the ropes as Morse starts offevolved to clear up a string of complex murders, a good deal to the envy and annoyance of some of his superiors, mainly Detective Sergeant Jakes and leader Superintendent bright. Thursday and Morse's fellow officer, Police Constable ordinary, try to influence the younger Endeavour into taking his Sergeant's examination, so that he may be relieved of "trendy responsibilities" and come to be Thursday's official "bag guy" with the precise rank and name.
