The Handmaid's tale is the tale of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was the united states. Gilead is ruled through a fundamentalist regime that treats women as property of the country, and is faced with environmental failures and a plummeting delivery price. In a determined try and repopulate a devastated world, the few final fertile ladies are compelled into sexual servitude. This type of ladies, Offred, is decided to survive the terrifying world she lives in, and locate the daughter that was taken from her.
