Bank merchant Andy Dufresne is convicted of the homicide of his spouse and her lover, and sentenced to lifestyles imprisonment at Shawshank prison. Existence seems to have taken a flip for the more serious, however fortuitously Andy befriends some of the alternative inmates, in particular a character recognized only as purple. Through the years Andy reveals methods to live out lifestyles with relative ease as you may in a prison, leaving a message for all that whilst the body may be locked away in a mobile, the spirit can by no means be absolutely imprisoned.
